About the Founder
Dr. Nicole Armstrong
Dr. Nicole Armstrong is a mother, entrepreneur, and owner of the She’s a Professional companies (She’s a Doctor, She’s an Author, She’s a Host, She’s in Production, and “She’s” clothing line). Dr. Armstrong is also the founder of S.M.I.LE. (Single Mother’s in Lifelong Education), an organization that promotes educating single mothers.
Dr. Armstrong is the author of How to Leave Your Class for a Guest Teacher and Girl, You Can Do It. She is currently writing a children’s book series titled “Xavier and Zailen.” This series is loosely based on her grandchildren and inspired by their birth. These non-fiction books are meant to be fun, educational and to depict the experiences of first cousins; one African American and one Hispanic.
Her Story – I always wanted to have one special gift, but I could never figure out what it was. One day it was revealed to me that my gift was having many gifts. I created the She’s a Professional network to connect women of all backgrounds to collectively build a strong place for growth and to share all my gifts.

- 10-15 Hours per week
- Previous social media experience
- Preferred: College students – Marketing, Sales, Graphic Design, Communications, or Social Media
INTERNSHIP 2 - HYBRID (Chicago)
Pay: Performance review after 60 days – Hourly rate offered upon satisfactory performance.
What You Will Do:
- Create marketing material

What's Required:
- Must live in Chicago or the surrounding area only
- 10-15 Hours per week
- Previous social media experience
- Preferred: College students – Marketing, Sales, Graphic Design, Communications, or Social Media
